Happy Monday!

I know I've been seriously lacking on my blogger duties. I promise to get back on track and overwhelm you all with endless interior inspiration, starting NOW.

Besides working like crazy, I've been getting ready for my two favorite holidays- Halloween and my birthday. I can't decide what I want to be (for Halloween that is). A scary sugar skull or a ferocious tiger? I'm still kind of up in the air about it. Creatively preparing for both. I know I'm such a nerd but I can't NOT be excited about Halloween, costumes are just so fun!

In case you didn't get the memo, Gilmore Girls is officially on Netflix. And since Netflix uploaded the fast-talking mother-daughter-duo, I have been on a binge watching spree. I lost track of the series towards the end of its original airing, so it's fun rewatching the earlier Rory Chilton years, and continue to watch the episodes I missed.

I'm not going to lie, as a teen, I was always fascinated by her endless love of reading. I've never been a huge reader. I read really slowly, and although I have a great memory for any book that I actual get through, the fact that it would take me twice as long as my friends was extremely discouraging. Now that I'm older, I'm working on my book phobia and trying to read more. I know, it sounds so cliche- I want to read more- but it's true.

And I'm not stopping at just me. I have found myself make sure my clients have that perfect reading nook in every living room I've designed. Having that incredibly comfy chair, cozy blanket, and well lit space makes for the perfect atmosphere to curl up and let those characters come to life. So for any of you planning out your living room, don't forget to include that perfect reading space. Enjoy // Like // &Share
