the holiday season
Happy Monday my favorite people!
Well it's finally arrived. We are officially in the holiday season! I know that many people like to drink the Christmas coolaid prior to munching down on their Thanksgiving turkey. However, I (the Jew from Elkins Park- if you don't get the reference, The Goldbergs is based off of a family in my neighboring town) am a strong advocate in not bringing up Christmas, until after Thanksgiving. And since the Turkey is fully digested, and the tryptophan has passed through our blood stream, we can officially start on the holiday festivities.
Get ready for the holiday decorating, gift guiding, inspiration sharing madness! I know, you're so excited. But before we dive in on the holiday sparkle, I thought I'd post one last pure random inspiration to start your Monday off right. Enjoy!

turkey day
Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow American friends
While the turkey's in the roasting, the stuffing is cooking and the pie is baking, I thought I'd share some holiday table inspiration for anyone like me, the none cook of the family. I've tried, but tend to get pushed out of the kitchen on days like today. In turn, I leave all of the cooking up to my family. That's what family's are for, right? But one task I do always take on is the table. So for anyone who put cooking priorities over making their table sparkle (and don't have an awesome family member like me around) here are some last minute table ideas to make your dining room beautifully festive and leave your guests amazed.
Enjoy & Happy Holidays!
